ATTENTION!!
The April 24 POD using the Johnson and Johnson vaccine has been canceled due to the pause of use from the FDA and CDC. Individuals who have scheduled appointments will be contacted in the coming days to be updated on plans for a future POD, if and when the Johnson and Johnson is cleared for use again. It is our focus to use the safest and most effective vaccinations for the Beadle County POD. It is strongly recommended to contact your healthcare provider or local pharmacies to receive vaccines which are currently available. Most pharmacies in the Huron area are able to waive fees to individuals with no insurance coverage. Sufficient doses of the Moderna vaccine are currently in stock for Beadle and Sanborn counties. The Beadle County Covid-19 Task Force will continue to monitor developments of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine and will update the public of potential dates of an alternate date for POD vaccinations.
